The event dedicated toEmbedded Cybersecurity

CYBER ON BOARD

The event dedicated to
Embedded Cybersecurity

The leading event dedicated to embedded systems cybersecurity. Each year, COB brings together product cybersecurity leaders, industrial players, researchers, and academic institutions around a shared goal: advancing the security of critical products collectively.
An event structured around three complementary pillars:
• A community of committed experts
• High-level scientific conferences
• A hardware CTF on real equipment to uncover the next generation of specialists
COB is a strategic convergence point for the European embedded ecosystem.

Our 3 Pillars

A community of excellence

ROUNDTABLES

A community of excellence

Cyber On Board brings together Product Cybersecurity Leaders, industrial stakeholders, and researchers within a neutral and confidential environment. This community enables the sharing of methodologies, feedback, and strategic challenges to collectively strengthen the security of critical products and break down barriers between industrial sectors.

A leading scientific event

SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCES

A leading scientific event

COB organizes an annual event whose program is developed by an independent scientific committee through a highly selective Call for Papers. The conferences bridge academic research and industrial realities to sustainably raise the technical standards of the embedded cybersecurity field.

A flagship hardware CTF

CAPTURE THE FLAG

A flagship hardware CTF

COB’s CTF is based on challenges conducted on real hardware, focused on embedded systems. It highlights rare skill sets, brings together academic institutions and industry, and helps prepare the next generation of product cybersecurity experts.

The RCP / PSO group

The RCP / PSO group

The RCP group is at the core of the momentum driven by COB. It brings together Product Cybersecurity Leaders from member organizations within an engaged, expert, and confidential community dedicated to the cybersecurity challenges of embedded products across their entire lifecycle. A true space for exchange and trust, it fosters the sharing of experience, the comparison of approaches, and collective enrichment among industrial stakeholders, within a demanding, non-commercial framework that supports a strong and structured ecosystem.

COB26 Program

DAY 1 - MAY 26TH, 2026

Strategic Roundtables

The first session will focus on the major strategic challenges of cybersecurity for embedded systems: regulation, sovereignty, AI, supply chain, training, and talent attraction. High-level debates, moderated by Mélanie Bénard-Crozat, bringing together industrial decision-makers, institutional players, and cyber experts. The goal: to share visions, compare approaches, and shed light on the structural choices for the years to come.

DAY 2 & DAY 3 - MAY 27TH & 28TH, 2026

Scientific conferences

Submissions to the scientific program are now closed. The selected proposals, resulting from the call for papers, will enrich the day with high value-added research contributions. The full program will be unveiled in early April. Registration Individual ticket sales will open on April 1st. The number of seats is intentionally limited to ensure a high level of exchange and interaction.

NIGHT 2 & DAY 3 - MAY 27TH & 28TH, 2026

Capture The Flag

Designed by the NEVERHACK teams, this Capture The Flag stands out from traditional formats: teams work on physical hardware, facing real-world challenges with no simulation involved. 2026 theme: Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) Signal analysis, circuit understanding, component identification… here, it’s not about reciting knowledge, but reasoning, investigating, and progressing as a team in a real-life scenario.
