The Steering Committee
The Steering Committee upholds the association’s vision. It sets the direction, defines COB’s key priorities, and ensures that its development follows a coherent, ambitious, and sustainable path.
Cyber On Board was born from a partnership between a major industrial player in critical systems and a recognized cybersecurity expert, who shared a common observation: the cybersecurity challenges of embedded systems require a comprehensive, cross-sectoral, and collaborative approach. To move beyond sectoral boundaries and create an independent space for reflection and exchange, they chose to establish a non-profit association governed by the French law of 1901. This structure allows for the long-term collaboration of embedded systems stakeholders, industrialists, experts, researchers, and institutions, around a shared ambition: to advance the cybersecurity of embedded systems for critical infrastructure.
The members of the Cyber On Board association are major industrial players in critical sectors: aerospace, defense, energy, transportation, automotive, and autonomous systems. Their shared commitment is to advance the cybersecurity of embedded systems, share best practices, structure industries, and contribute to the emergence of solutions tailored to real industrial challenges.
